FE Advanced Search is a WordPress plugin that lets you create advanced search forms from the settings screen—without writing any code—so users can perform AND-based searches using multiple criteria on WordPress posts.

It provides essential search functionality for websites that handle large volumes of information, such as real estate sites, job boards, used car listings, facility search sites, and academic paper databases.

The plugin has been adopted by a wide range of websites, from those of major corporations to educational institutions and personal sites. It also allows you to use custom field values, including those created with Advanced Custom Fields, in both search conditions and search result sorting. Until now, development had continued under the v0.9.x series because import optimization was not yet sufficient. With the improvements made in this release, we have determined that the plugin has now reached a fully practical level of performance, and have therefore released it as version 1.0.

By processing large volumes of data in batches, this plugin enables stable export and import operations without timeouts. In addition, it optimizes batch sizes based on PHP configuration values such as max_execution_time and memory_limit, achieving practical processing speeds while maintaining stability. Actual performance will vary depending on your site configuration and server environment, but in our local environment, exporting 10,000 records takes about 10 to 15 seconds, while importing the same amount takes about 150 to 180 seconds. We hope you will give it a try.

In addition, when used together with the Pro version (paid), the plugin offers convenient features such as automatic backup and automatic import through integration with the backup plugin UpdraftPlus, shared-password and login-password prompts at runtime, and a Direct SQL mode that allows conditions to be specified directly in SQL. Please consider it as well.

This plugin was developed with a strong focus on usability, featuring a simple and intuitive interface, no need for cumbersome column mapping during import, high-speed export of 10,000 records in under 15 seconds, and flexible customization of export fields and conditions through hooks.

The Pro version (paid) includes even more useful features, such as support for ACF (Advanced Custom Fields) and an automated backup-to-import workflow integrated with the backup plugin UpdraftPlus.
