FE Search AI Pro is a Pro add-on that extends “FE Search AI (Free version)” – a plugin that adds AI chat-style search functionality to WordPress sites – for professional use.

FE Search AI indexes site content such as posts, pages, and custom post types, and AI answers user questions in natural language. Using RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), it generates answers while referencing information within the site, making it easier to guide users to information that is hard to find with conventional keyword search.

The Pro version adds features needed for real-world operations, such as advanced AI model selection, model-specific custom prompts, OpenAI-compatible endpoints, custom field synchronization, security controls, external APIs, and MCP integration.

How to use

Install and activate “FE Search AI (Free version)” in advance.
Prepare API keys for the AI providers you want to use, such as OpenAI, Google, or Anthropic.
After purchase, download the Pro plugin from “My Account” and note your license key.
Install and activate the Pro plugin in WordPress.
Enter your license key in the “FE Search AI” settings screen in the WordPress admin to activate the license.
Configure AI providers, Embedding, Qdrant, display settings, etc., as needed.
Run content synchronization and place the chat UI on your site.

No. FE Search AI Pro is an add-on that extends FE Search AI (Free version). You must install and activate the Free version first.

Q. Can I use AI search with just the Free version?

Yes. Even with just the Free version, you can use basic features such as AI chat search, RAG, multiple AI providers, Embedding, Qdrant integration, content synchronization, and shortcode embedding.

Q. What changes with the Pro version?

You can use advanced model selection, model-specific custom prompts, OpenAI-compatible custom endpoints, custom field synchronization, fullscreen chat, forbidden words, rate limit management, user consent, conversation logs, external APIs, MCP integration, and more.

Q. Which AI services do you support?

For answer generation, we support OpenAI, Google Gemini, and Anthropic Claude. For Embedding, we support OpenAI and Google. Cohere can be used for Rerank. The Pro version also allows configuring OpenAI-compatible endpoints.

Q. Are AI API fees included in the product price?

No. Please pay usage fees for external services such as OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, Cohere, and Qdrant directly to each service provider.

Q. Can I use it on Japanese-language sites?

Yes. For Japanese-language sites, we support TinySegmenter and optionally Yahoo! JAPAN Japanese morphological analysis API. It can be used for Japanese content search and AI responses.

Q. Do you support custom post types?

Yes. In addition to posts and pages, custom post types can also be treated as search targets. It can be used for sites with product information, property details, job listings, FAQs, documentation, and more.

Q. Can custom fields be included in search targets?

With the Pro version, custom fields can be included in synchronization targets. Important information outside the main content, such as product specs, property conditions, and job requirements, can also be utilized for AI search.
