No. This plugin is an add-on that extends the free version. Please install FE Search AI (free version) from GitHub using the link provided here before using the Pro add-on.

Q. What is the difference between the free and Pro versions?

The free version provides basic AI search, RAG chat, and connections to major AI providers. The Pro version adds features for business use, including custom field synchronization, local LLM and MCP integration, rate limiting, logging, and individual support.

Q. Are API usage fees for AI providers such as OpenAI and Claude included?

No. The plugin uses a BYOK (Bring Your Own Key) model. API usage fees are billed directly by each provider through your own account.

Q. Can I get a refund if the plugin does not work in my environment?
